10/23/07 What a
great guy Fraser has been in our home. He's now gained weight and is looking
in the peak of health; he's every inch a head turning, show stopping noble
Boxer. Fraser would love an home with adults who are very active and would
be committed to daily walks and taking their family dog hiking and jogging:
regular exercise is a must to keep this handsome guy relaxed. He has been
such a pleasure to have as a foster but he would love to have a home to call
his own. Fraser is a well rounded young man who knows his own mind, typical
of the Boxer breed and would do best with equally strong minded pack
leaders, people who are confident and calm, as he prefers to look to his
humans for direction, he even enjoys obedience training. He is playful,
listens very well and is a perfect gentleman in his crate while I am at
work. He continues to get along wonderfully with my other 4 Boxers, both
male and female. Fraser is a typical solid strong Boxer boy and he can play
rough! , so he would do great with an equally playful, athletic young female
to romp and have fun with! He is a wonderful boy who deserves the best home.

Update
- Fraiser has been his foster home for over a week now and I can tell you he
is a wonderful dog. He gets along well with the 4 other boxers both male and
female. My one female never wants to play with him but he keeps on trying to
get her to play. He plays well with the other dogs and initiates play with
the bottoms up stance. He is a good size boy and still needs to gain weight.
He is the type of Boxer that needs a good leader otherwise he will think he
has to take over that position of being the leader.
He he is a bit hand shy. I don't make fast moves around him with my hands
so that he doesn't flinch. He is getting so much better with that everyday.
As he trusts me more and more he is outwardly more comfortable. He needs
plenty of time to run and play outside and so would do well with a fenced in
yard. He loves to do Boxer bullets where the takes off running like wild. He
listens very well and knows come, sit, down, shake. He is good on the leash
but does not like dogs approaching him while on the leash. We are working on
that now.
He sleeps in the crate and is a perfect gentleman. He is a bit
intimidated around men but once he trusts them he is fine. He definitely
likes women better. In time, with a gentle and firm owner Fraiser will be
just fine and get over his fear of men.
He is a great dog that deserves a home. He needs a home
where there is good secure leadership. Even though he was in a home with
little kids we will only place him in a home with young adults and adults.

Update
-Frazier remains at Eagle Kennel. He is such a beautiful dog with his
classic boxer good looks - he even prances when he walks. He is very
obedient and does not seem to have any issues with other dogs we meet at the
kennel or during his walks. He ignores the cats at the cat house and just
seems to mind his own business. He just needs a home where he can decompress
and enjoy the good life. He has been in the kennel a long time and really
needs a loving, caring human to give him his forever home.
Please be his hero and foster or foster to adopt to see just how
wonderful this dog is.
5/24/07 - Frazier
As you can see Frasier is a very handsome Boxer. He is a very good boy who
just needs a committed family to show good leadership to this young dog.
House broken, walks OK on a leash, and really wants to please. As soon as
his EX owners give more information we will update his page. PLEASE someone
out there offer to foster this boy as he very depressed in the kennel. He
probably wonders what happened to his family. They were not as committed to
him as Frasier was to them. |
