Jax
here. As the summer comes to a close, I continue to enjoy laying on the
deck, playing with my foster brother and sister, and generally enjoying
life. My foster mom says I am the best snuggler going. I love it when kids
scratch my ears. I like going for walks and riding in the car. I am a truly
handsome fellow, even if I do say so myself. Meet me and you will fall in
love!

Jax is
doing great in foster. He is a wonderful snuggler and loves people. Jax
enjoys playing and wrestling with the two other boxers in his foster home.
He loves routine and lets his foster parents know when it is time for
breakfast and dinner. He will be a great addition to a lucky home. If you
are interested in Jax, apply today!

Don't
let his age fool you - Jax has plenty of boxer bounce. He is currently
living with a male and female boxer and Jax is doing great. He is a funny
boy who wiggles his whole body in happiness. He loves to snuggle and is a
gentle spirit who loves to be with people of all ages. Jax is
used to having somebody home with him during the day and he would love to go
to a home with dog companions! Jax is truly a hidden jewel waiting to
be discovered.

Jax was
able to leave the shelter today and was transported to his foster home. We
will update his page as soon as his foster family gets to know him better.
The volunteer that transported him indicated that Jax rode well in the car
and he interacted great with the other dogs he met at the vet's office. He
needs to gain some weight. He was a gentleman today for all who interacted
with him today! Included is a picture from his transport.

Jax is an eight year old
brindle boxer. He is already neutered and he will be brought up to
date on all vet care. Jax is completely housebroken and knows his basic
commands (sit, down, shake). He is great with other dogs, small and large.
Jax has lived with small children and enjoys being around them. He was
surrendered to the shelter by his owner because the owner could not keep Jax
where he lived. Jax is in urgent need at the shelter and AABR will be
bringing him into rescue soon. He will be going into foster with two other
boxers. His foster family will update his page as soon as they get to
know him. We will be adding new pictures soon! Thank you for your
interest in this sweet, senior boy!
