Alexander is a wonderful, sweet, and playful boy. He loves every person he meets and wants to play with every dog. Alexander enjoys going to the park, playing with his foster sister at home, and then taking a long nap on the sofa. At just over a year old, he is still growing into his long, puppy legs and learning how to use them in perfect unison, so he still has his youthful goofiness. Alexander is well house-trained, knows how to sit, and even walks well on leash (except when there is another dog ahead whom he wants to meet.) He is a great boy who will make a wonderful addition to a lucky family.
We are surprised that 1 yr old Alexander is still looking for a forever home. He is a friendly boy who gets along great with everyone he meets. Alexander would do best in a home with an active female to play with and ideally with older children due to his energy level. This is a great boy waiting for his family to find him!
Alexander is a 1 yr old male boxer who was recently surrendered to the NYC shelter. He just arrived at his new foster home, where we will determine what Alexander needs in a forever home. Alexander will not be placed in a home with young children at this time. During his evaluation at the shelter with other dogs, Alexander offered play bows and often jumped on and/or over the helper dog. Once he gets settled into his foster home, we will update Alexander’s page with more information to help this adorable boy find a wonderful home.
