Aurora had her hip surgery at The Animal Medical Center. We are so thankful to Dr. Hart and his amazing team for taking such good care of her. All went very well with the surgery. Aurora was able to receive a grant to cover the majority of the costs. We are hoping she will have an easy recovery.

Aurora has moved to New York to be closer to her orthopedic surgeon. Her total hip replacement consult is scheduled in August. She is doing wonderful in the city and just loves her new foster brother, who is a boxer. The city lights shine bright on Aurora.

Aurora needs your help. We are looking for a temporary foster home in NYC, Western Long Island, or the Brooklyn area for our sweet girl. She will be going to see the surgeon at the Animal Medical Center in Manhattan for a consultation. Aurora is in need of a total hip replacement due to being struck by a car while living on the streets of Turkey. She will need to be kept quiet following surgery, as she will require crate rest for several weeks. Her foster mom says she is the best girl ever. Aurora is fully housebroken and crate trained. She is a quiet girl, which makes her an ideal roommate for a NYC apartment. If you are unable to foster, please consider making a donation on her behalf as the surgical estimate is around $7500. Thank you fo7/20/19r your support for Aurora.

Aurora has done really well since arriving to the United States. She is learning that dogs are treated much better in foster. Aurora gets two wonderful meals a day and then goes outside to potty. She has left the rough streets of Turkey behind her and is ready to spread her wings and find a forever home. Aurora loves children and other dogs. She would do best in a home without cats.

Aurora is an international star and just arrived to the USA from Turkey. She was left on a mountain to fend for herself. Aurora is just starting to gain some much needed weight. She is a very happy go lucky and easygoing girl who is estimated to be around 3 yrs old. Aurora is completely housebroken and crate trained. She can be placed as an only dog or with a male companion. Aurora is kind and gentle with children. All she needs now is a hero to show her the beautiful life she deserves.
