Balboa is looking for a home experienced with boxers. He may act out when excited or stressed. Balboa needs to continue to gain trust in people. If he is crated, Balboa needs to be in a quiet room. He really enjoys playing with the other dogs in his foster home and Balboa is also friendly with the cats. He is happy to lay on the couch and snuggle all day, or just as happy to be outside chasing squirrels. Balboa deserves a wonderful home that can continue all the progress his foster family has made with him.
Balboa is settling in well at his foster home. He is always ready to play, but is happy to cuddle on the couch also. Balboa would benefit from an active home with a fenced yard. He enjoys the other dogs, but does not do as well with more dominant dogs. Balboa needs an experienced owner who will help him slowly adjust to a new family.
Balboa was surrendered to a high kill shelter in Georgia. He does not like to be crated or kenneled. Balboa is wonderful with people and other dogs. At the shelter, he loved to go out in the play yard with other dogs. Balboa enjoys walks and he is good on leash. He also enjoys snuggling. Through the efforts of rescue volunteers, Balboa was able to be given a second chance. He was recently transported to Maryland and is settling in well at his new foster home. Balboa would love to find a home with another dog and somebody who can provide the time and training that a young dog needs.
