Bella was surrendered to a high kill shelter in NY when her owners could no longer care for her. She is a sweet, loving, and gentle trusting lady who is 10 years young. Bella is also blind. She had both of her eyes removed some years ago due to glaucoma. There is also evidence that Bella had a few litters in her lifetime. She was reported by her owners to have lived with several other dogs. Bella is struggling to figure out her new surroundings and come to grips that life as she knew it no longer exits. Moments after meeting our volunteer, she was doling out lots of sloppy kisses. Bella will need a home without stairs, another dog to be her eyes, and plenty of love.
