In sweet memory of our Brooke, an AABR Grad who came to us in 2005 at the age of 5 and was our angel for 8 years!
- Yunna Hahn

Brooke has grown leaps and bounds! She plays very well with her foster brother and sister, sharing toys, playing tug –o-war, and running in the yard. She is fully housebroken, crate trained, and picked up on the invisible fence literally within 2 days. She is such a smart girl and is very treat motivated, which helps tremendously. Brooke is around 1.5 yrs old, so is still very much a puppy with a ton of energy. She can also occupy herself with her toys. I have found her tossing and chasing her toys while her foster brother and sister were sleeping on the couch. She is too funny. She also loves to snuggle at the end of the day. Brooke is great meeting new people and loves kids. We are still working on jumping when excited, but she is definitely improving every day. Brooke would make a great addition to any family, but would prefer some kids or another dog to interact with. Brooke is ready for her forever family!

Brooke has been moved to a new foster home, where she is now living with two other boxers. She is settling in nicely and learning the new routines. Once her foster family gets to know Brooke better, we will post a more detailed update.

Brooke is doing great! She is full of energy and loves to play fetch. Brooke does well in her crate and walks well on leash. Her foster mom has taught Brooke a command to settle when she gets really excited. She plays well with the Bulldog in her foster home and is also doing fine with the outdoor cat. Brooke is very comical and has made a lot of progress since arriving in rescue.

Brooke is doing wonderful in her foster home. She has recovered well from her spay and is now ready to find a forever family. She is still awkward socially, but is making improvements. Brooke is a very playful girl and doesn’t always understand everyone might not want to play. She is doing great with housebreaking and leash manners.  If you are interested in adding this sweet girl to your family, apply today!

Brooke is a boxer girl estimated to be around 1 year of age. She was surrendered by her owners and was previously chained outside with only a flimsy box for shelter. With the help of a local rescue group, Brooke and another boxer at this home, River, were transported to Maryland and just arrived at their new foster homes.

Brooke is settling in well at her foster home, where she is living with other dogs and children. She traveled well in the car and is learning the routines of her home. Brooke is working on crate training and housebreaking. She is an energetic girl who would love a yard to run and play in. Brooke is very sweet with people and loves attention. She is currently at our vet to be spayed and brought up to date on all vet care.  Brooke will then be looking for a forever home with the time and experience to continue her training and socialization. Considering the conditions she previously lived in, Brooke is already making great progress.
