Senior sensation, Cage, is settling in seamlessly with his foster family. He loves to go on walks, play with squeaky toys, and be wherever his favorite humans are. Cage continues to do well with dogs of all sizes, cats and children. He is a fun dude who tries hard to put a smile on everyone’s face.
Cage and Floyd were picked up as strays by a high kill rural shelter down south. They found comfort being together among all the chaos at the shelter. This father and son duo has arrived in New York and are currently in boarding together. They are friendly with both large and small female dogs. They are also very respectful of cats. One of our volunteers takes them home for a few hours when she can to offer them a reprieve from the kennel. They immediately go to the dog beds to roll on their backs and then to the yard for a romp. These two are very polite in a home and don’t ask for much. They just want a place to lay their heads. We hope to be able to place them together, but are realistic and may have to split them up.
