Welcome Cash to AABR! Cash was surrendered to rescue after he was abandoned at a pet sitter’s house. His owner passed away suddenly and 5 1/2 yr old Cash found himself being bounced around from stranger to stranger, shuffled in and out of the shelter system, hospitalized from multiple injuries and finally to AABR where he is safe.
Cash is a friendly, fun loving, comical boy who absolutely loves to be by his human’s side. He promises to deliver a laugh a minute!! Cash has lived with small children, 3 and 4yrs of age, and he was extremely gentle and respectful toward them. Cash is also dog friendly. He has lived with both large and small dogs, but prefers females. Cash has also lived with a cat and was extremely respectful and gentle with her. Cash loves playing with toys and snuggling with his foster mom on the couch.
Cash has been seen by one of our veterinarians for a limp on his rear leg. After doing X-rays, it was clear that Cash has 2 pins in his leg and one is broken. He also has damage to his hip. Cash will be seen by one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the tri- state area for an evaluation and surgical correction. As much as it pains us to imagine how long Cash had to endure this, it does not seem to affect his happy go lucky demeanor.
Stay tuned for updates on Cash as we learn more!
