This poor girl hasn’t had it easy. Her foster mom noticed that she was declining in health and the vet diagnosed Delilah with pyometra, which is an infection of the uterus. Pyometra is a serious and life threatening condition that must be treated quickly. AABR moved forward with emergency surgery that saved her life. She is now back at her foster home and resting comfortably. Thank you for your continued to support Delilah.
Delilah has lived a rough life as an outside dog and hasn’t seen a vet in many years, if at all. She was surrendered for being old and for possibly losing vision. Delilah was brought to the shelter in the back of a pick up truck with a rope tied around her neck as a leash. Delilah is approximately 8 yrs old and is a total sweetheart. She loves to give kisses. Delilah is great with children and other dogs. She has never been around cats. Delilah just arrived at her new foster home and she is settling in well. We will update Delilah’s page once her foster family learns more about her.
