Diamond has an appointment scheduled for November 14th to have her ACL surgery. She is a lucky girl to have a foster home willing to help her through the surgery and recovery. Diamond is super sweet and is doing well with the four other dogs in her foster home, both large and small. Please consider donating towards her surgery!
Diamond is a 7 yr old female boxer who was surrendered by her owner when they were no longer able to care for her medical needs. Diamond’s owner reported she is housebroken, friendly, loves to play, and lived with a 15 yr old child. She has never lived with other dogs, but is reported to be playful with them. Diamond is recommended for a home without cats. Diamond has a torn cruciate that the owner refused treatment for. She was scheduled to be euthanized on Monday, but was able to find a foster home in PA. Diamond is now out of the shelter and has just arrived at her new foster home. Once she gets settled in, Diamond will visit our orthopedic surgeon to evaluate her ACL injury and options for surgery.
