Duchess has been diagnosed with an inflammatory urethra issue by the University of Penn. She will begin medications to help manage her symptoms. Duchess is great with children, cats, and other dogs. She is very calm and has fit in easily at her foster home.
Duchess is currently being treated for a urinary tract infection. She will then need a growth removed from her leg. At this time, Duchess is on medical hold. Please consider donating towards her vet expenses.
Duchess was surrendered at a high kill shelter in PA when her family moved and left her behind. Thankfully, an AABR volunteer was able to drive quickly to the shelter to bring her to safety. Duchess is six years old and is reported to be good with children, other dogs, and cats. She will be brought up to date on all vet care and then will be ready for a forever home. We will provide another update once Duchess gets settled in at her foster home.
