Duncan is doing wonderful in his foster home. He gets along well with both of his foster siblings. Because of his high energy level and rough play, Duncan can be a little overwhelming for smaller dogs. He loves to play and would do best with a young, female dog his size in his new home. Duncan is great with children of all ages. He is crated during the work day, but sleeps in the bedroom in the evening. He is a very sweet boy who loves attention. Duncan just visited the vet and he is now up to 55 lbs. The vet placed him on a high fiber prescription food at this time. He will also be given two more rounds of dewormer, as he had a bad case of hookworms when he arrived in rescue.
Duncan was found as a stray and is estimated to be around 2 yrs of age. This adorable boy did great with his dog test at the shelter. He has been brought up to date on all vet care and just arrived at his new foster home, where he is living with two other dogs (male and female). Duncan’s foster mom indicates he is a petite guy who needs to gain some weight. Duncan would do best in a home that has another dog. He is getting along great with his foster siblings. Duncan may be younger than estimated and has a lot of puppy energy. His foster family is working on housebreaking, crate training, and teaching some basic commands.
