Eleanor is doing great in her foster home. She is living with a male boxer and an 18 month old child. Eleanor is both house broken and crate trained. She is able to be home during the work day with no accidents. Eleanor is great with other dogs and plays well with her foster brother, AABR alum Kirby. She has also met neighborhood dogs without issues. Eleanor walks well on a leash and rides well in the car. She knows some basic commands (come, sit, down, leave it) but could use additional training as she shows her puppy ways and has a limited attention span. Eleanor will require training for her puppy antics such as jumping, chewing, and counter surfing. Eleanor is a high energy girl and will do best with a younger dog to play with and a completely fenced yard.
This adorable and loving girl just wants to play and cuddle. With continued training, she will be a great addition to a home. If you have the time and experience for a boxer this age, apply today to adopt Eleanor!
Eleanor is being surrendered to the shelter because she is too energetic for the small dog in the home. She will be spayed this week and then transported to Maryland. Eleanor will be fostered with a male boxer and a young child. We will update her page once her foster family learns more about her.
