Jethro and Ellie are settling in really well at their foster home. They are completely housebroken. They will use the dog door when it is open, but will let you know when they need out if it is closed. They sleep with the foster home’s son and really seem to like children. Jethro has been nervous with abrupt noises, but calms down quickly. Ellie is the leader of the pair. She needs a secure fence in her new home because she was an escape artist in the past. She will find any gaps in the fence. They both love being outside and snuggling with their people. Jethro and Ellie are up to date on all vet care, including dental work. A lot of uncertainty had happened in their lives over the past few months. They lost the only home they knew, moved into temporary foster care, and are now getting settled into AABR’s foster home. They will need an adopter who will give them time to adjust. If you have room in your heart and home for two wonderful boxers, apply for Jethro and Ellie.
Jethro and Ellie lost their home due to a divorce. They are a bonded pair and we would like to find them a home where they can remain together. Jethro is 5 yrs old and Ellie is 7 yrs old. They are great with children, cats, and other dogs after a proper introduction. Jethro and Ellie just arrived at their new foster home in Virginia. They do great on a leash and are very sweet. We will update their page as their foster family gets to know them.
