GiGi was in rough shape when she was found laying on the side of the road. It appeared that she had been attacked by an animal or possibly another dog. GiGi had deep bite wounds on her neck. The humane society provided immediate vet care, including antibiotics, pain medication, and hydrotherapy. GiGi has healed nicely and she also gained 12 lbs while in their care. She was able to join AABR yesterday to help find a forever home. GiGi is reported to be deaf and is estimated to be around 2 years old. She is likely a boxer/bulldog mix. GiGi is the sweetest girl and just craves attention from people. She did well with small dogs, rabbits, and cats at the shelter. Because of her attack, she can be a little fearful of larger, more exuberant dogs. GiGi is currently fostered in Maryland with a cat, and she is settling in well. She will see our vet soon for an exam and to get her spay scheduled. This adorable little girl is going to make a wonderful addition to a lucky family!
