Jacob has arrived at a new foster home without other dogs and he is settling in great. He has adjusted to  his new surroundings and loves having a fenced yard. Jacob has quickly captured the hearts of his foster parents.

Jacob has been in the boarding kennel for 2 months now and urgently needs to get back in a home environment. This beautiful blind boxer does not want to share his space with other dogs, but he is fantastic with people. If you have a home without other dogs and will consider being a hero for this wonderful boy, please apply to help Jacob. Our volunteers were able to spend some time with him this past weekend to get some updated photos. Jacob needs you. Please help us help him.

Jacob is looking for a hero. He did not do well with the other dogs in his foster home, so he had to be taken to a boarding kennel last month until we are able to find him a new placement without other dogs. His temporary foster mom wants people to know that Jacob was a very easy boy in the home. He wants nothing more than to curl up next to you. Jacob is completely housebroken and adjust easily to his environment. He has seen our ophthalmologist and was diagnosed with Progressive Retinal Atrophy with cataracts in both eyes, which has caused irreversible blindness. Jacob was prescribed eye drops to reduce any inflammation from the cataracts. If you don’t have other dogs and can help Jacob, please apply today. He is very stressed in the kennel and we would love to see him back into a home soon.

We welcome Jacob to AABR. This handsome 4 yr old blind boy just arrived at his foster home. He was abandoned at his home in Kentucky when his family moved without him. The landlord then took him to the local shelter. Through social media and with the help of other rescue groups, AABR was able to get this boy out of the shelter and transported to Maryland. Jacob is very sweet with people and completely housebroken. We are working on crate training and getting him comfortable around the other dogs in his foster home.  Jacob will be brought up to date on all vet care and will visit an ophthalmologist soon.
