My name is Kayo, but a lot of people call me “Cutie Pie” or “Silly Boxer.” I love to run and play fetch in the yard. I also snuggle a lot and enjoy following my people around the house. I have a good amount of Boxer energy and I know many commands, such as sit, down, paw, and stay. I like laying outside in the grass or snoozing inside. People tell me I have great manners because I listen well and walk nicely on leash. I don’t jump on furniture, but sometimes I am a secret couch napper. If you want to be best friends, give me a frozen Kong with peanut butter or take me for a long walk because I am curious about everything! I am crate trained, but don’t need to go in there often. Sometimes I snore, but people just laugh about that. I have visited New York City, but I am better living in the ‘burbs’ because I am working on my manners around other dogs. I need to be the only dog in the home. Because I am a big boy, I do better with children over the age of ten. My foster family says I am the sweetest, cutest dog and anybody would be lucky to adopt me. If you have a lot of hugs and are ready for a well behaved Boxer boy who will enjoy being the only dog in your home, then come visit me! Love, Kayo
Kayo is looking for an only dog home with a nice backyard in a quiet neighborhood. He loves playing ball, cuddling, following his people around, and relaxing in the backyard. Kayo is a real gem and his foster mom absolutely adores him. This is the kind of dog that just wants to be with you. He does well in his crate when left alone. This adorable boy is ready for his forever home.
Kayo is doing great in his foster home. He is good in his crate, housebroken, knows his basic commands, and is overall just a chill guy. Kayo is reportedly 6 yrs old, according to his owner’s friend that surrendered him after his owner passed away. Kayo has lived with children from infants to 18 yrs old. He has also lived with a small mixed breed male dog according to the surrender notes. Once Kayo settles in, he will be neutered and will get a dental. Kayo was surrendered to the NYC shelter after his owner passed away. He is reportedly good with kids and other dogs, but we will learn more about him in the coming days. He is very sweet, chill, housetrained, crate trained, knows commands, and is pretty good on the leash. Kayo is just a fairly easy dog on top of being extremely adorable. His owner’s friend reported that he is 6 years old.
