Kobe has been back in Rescue for almost a year now, and he would love to finally find a dedicated family of his own. He has adjusted to the two dogs in his foster home, but we would recommend a home with no other dogs for Kobe. He needs a secure, fenced yard due to his leash reactivity with other dogs. Kobe is the sweetest boy with people and he has lived with young children. If you are the right match for this handsome boy, apply today for Kobe!
Momma said that she is sorry that it has been awhile since she sent in an update on me. I am not sure why she would want to do something like that. I mean I love hanging out here at my foster home with my brother and sister. I really feel like this is my home. Momma said that there is a perfect family out there, but they just haven’t found me yet. I am fully vetted, potty trained and crate trained. I give the best boxer snuggles and kisses. I will sleep in a human bed, but I am also quite content to sleep on my doggie bed at the foot of the people bed. I sleep all night long and will get up when everyone else is ready to start the day. I am a great boy that loves to run in my fenced yard and hang out on the deck. Please will you consider a mature boy? Those pups tend to be a little wild…bark out loud – which I only do to alert you to any dangers, both real and imagined.
Kobe here. Momma said that she is sorry that we are just now getting around to doing an update about my progress. She has been busy doing taxes, whatever that is…bark out loud. Anyways I would do this myself but without thumbs, my typing isn’t so good. Momma says that I am a real good boy. I need slow introductions to other dogs. After a few days, I do start to warm up to others. I love to run in the fenced yard with my sister and brother. I also like to hang out on a sofa or dog bed for snozes during the day. If it is nice out, I will watch out the window for anything going past so I can alert my family to dangers both real and imagined. I am completely potty trained and even though I am not a fan of the crate, I will go into it with no problems.
Now I just need to find the perfect family who will love me forever.
That’s about all for now.
Kobe, woof woof
Kobe’s Christmas wish came true last week and he was able to leave the boarding kennel. He arrived at his original foster home that he stayed with five years ago. Kobe has lost a significant amount of weight in boarding. His foster home will be working on leash manners and helping Kobe gain his weight back. With proper introductions, Kobe has been able to join a home with two other dogs. He is completely housebroken and is crate trained. We will continue to update Kobe’s page with his progress.
Kobe is still waiting at the boarding kennel for his hero to give him a chance. He is a sweet and gentle boy in the home. Kobe loves people and does well with children. Please consider fostering or adopting Kobe.
Kobe is being returned to AABR and is looking for a foster or forever home. He currently lives with a female boxer and does well with her. Kobe is reported to be reactive to other dogs when walking on leash. He lives with young children and is great with them. Kobe rides well in the car and is used to a fenced yard. He is being placed at a boarding kennel this weekend until he finds a foster home. Please consider giving this boy a chance so we can get him out of the kennel quickly.
8/2011 – Adopted
Kobe arrived at his foster home yesterday. He has an absolutely amazing disposition! Kobe is so sweet – he just wanted to snuggle up close to people on his transport. It only took him a few minutes to make friends with his two new foster siblings, a female boxer and a female mixed breed puppy. Kobe seems to be housetrained and he slept at night on a dog bed at the foot of his foster mom’s bed. He loves to curl up and nap on the sofa. Kobe will need some work on leash walking and crate training, as these are things he had not been exposed to at his previous home.
This boy is going to be a wonderful companion for a lucky family. He would love to have a doggy companion and a fenced yard at his new home. Kobe’s foster parents will update his page once they get to know him better. Apply today to adopt Kobe!
Kobe and Bryson were surrendered to the shelter by their owner due to having numerous citations. Kobe is 1 year old and is great with other dogs.
