Lexie is being returned to rescue due to issues with the resident male boxer. She is looking for a committed home that can give her all the love, exercise and guidance a young boxer needs. Lexie would do best as the only pet in the home. She’s cute, she’s fun and she’s waiting for her forever home.

Lexie was listed for free on a Facebook post after her owner passed away. This is extremely dangerous for an intact female, as she could easily fall into the wrong hands. One of our volunteers quickly responded to the ad and got Lexie safe with us at AABR. Lexie was well loved and cared for in her previous home. She will need an adopter that is willing to let her unwind and overcome the losses she has suffered in her life. Lexie needs a home that will understand her current nervousness and give her the time to be the happy go lucky boxer she once was.
Lexie is extremely dog friendly and she prefers large dogs. Lexie will need a 6 ft fence as she is an athletic young girl. She knows sit and paw, and just loves to ride in the car. There will be more to come on this cute girl as we continue to learn more about her.
