Lucy continues to do really well at her foster home. She is left with free run during the work day. Lucy loves her foster brother, Ripken.  She is wonderful with children of all ages.  This sweet girl is going to be a great addition to a lucky home.  Her ideal placement would have a male dog and a completely fenced yard.

Lucy has been in her foster home for a couple months now and we are surprised this wonderful girl hasn’t been snatched up yet. Lucy is a complete lovebug! She follows the teenage son in her foster home everywhere. Lucy loves to run around the backyard with her foster brother, a male boxer. They can do this for hours! Lucy sleeps on either a dog bed or with her foster family. She takes treats gently and listens very well. Lucy knows her basic commands such as sit, stay, and come. She is very gentle with young children. Lucy is not a fan of a crate, but she does well with free run of the house when left alone. She follows her foster brother’s lead, so we would love to see her placed with a male dog if possible.  Lucy’s foster mom indicates that she has been an absolute joy in the home.  If you are looking for a snuggle bug who will provide you with hours of entertainment, then Lucy is your girl!

Lucy is still looking for a forever home. She is reported to be good with other dogs, as long as they can tolerate her excitement and playfulness. Lucy is not a fan of cats. This sweet girl is good with children of all ages and currently lives with a 3 yr old child.  She would do best with a fenced yard. Lucy is a very friendly girl and she will be arriving at her new foster home in Maryland next week. We will update Lucy’s page once she gets settled in and her foster mom learns more about her.

Lucy is being surrendered to rescue to find a home that can handle her energy level. She is reported to be good with other dogs, but needs to be around dogs that can tolerate her excitement and play. Lucy would do best in a home without cats. Lucy is also good with children of all ages and currently lives with a 3 yr old child. The volunteer that met Lucy indicated she has a sweet personality and is very loving. She remained highly excited throughout the visit. Lucy needs to be placed in a home that is committed to giving her regular exercise. She would also do best with a fenced yard. If you have a home that is a match for Lucy, apply today!
