3/10/20 – Memorial
With a heavy heart, we share with you that Luna passed away yesterday. She suddenly began having grand mal seizures. They came fast and with a vengeance. We rushed Luna to the best neurologist in the area, but her MRI sadly revealed a brain tumor. For most of her life, Luna was treated horribly and forced to breed and live outside. All she ever wanted was the love from a human. Her favorite human in this world was her foster mom. Luna was only out of the mill and with rescue for six short weeks. Luna loved the beach and cuddling with her foster mom. She knew compassion, unconditional love, and the taste of home life. Those are the memories she left this physical earth with. Luna’s memory will live on with each dog we save.
Luna continues to win the hearts of everyone she meets, both human and canine. She is an extremely loving girl who wants nothing more than to make everyone around her happy. Luna loves to cuddle and be as close as possible to her foster mom. She enjoys playing with other dogs that match her medium energy level, as well as going for strolls along the beach. Luna is as easy as they come and she is ready for her forever home.
Please welcome Luna to rescue after being saved from the mill! This 6 yr old sweetheart is all about the kisses and snuggles. She is dog friendly, kid friendly with ages 7 years and up, and an all around lover. Luna has no history with cats. She has been the perfect houseguest in her foster home. Luna sleeps through the night in her own bed and isn’t destructive when left alone. She is respectful of the male boxer and well mannered in the home.
