Thank you, Cara Miller, for giving Macy her name.

Macy continues to do great in her foster home. She adds so much light to a dark room. I love everything about her except the fact that she does not like cats. In a perfect world for Macy, she would love to chase them all the time. Macy enjoys playing with toys as well as with people. She will entertain herself by rolling on her back with a squeaky toy in her mouth. Macy loves her life and is living it to the fullest. Her favorite thing in the world is to go for a walk. This girl has not had a single accident since arriving at her new foster home.  She is crated throughout the workday with a midday break. Macy is a typical boxer who is goofy, smart, loyal, and has the best nub wag ever. A family is going to be very lucky to add Macy to their family.

Macy is doing great in her new foster home. She is a little ball of energy. Macy enjoys car rides and loves to go for walks. She gets so excited when she sees her harness and leash that she literally jumps up and down, followed by the cutest little vocal whine. Macy does great in her crate and is completely housebroken. She is very treat motivated and knows all her basic commands. Macy loves to be with people and really enjoys attention. I can’t say enough good things about this girl. She is beautiful, playful, faithful, and has an amazing disposition. Macy would love to be the only pet in the home so she can have her humans all to herself. If you think this dream girl is your match, please apply today. She really is a gem.

Macy was returned to rescue due to difficulties with the other dog in her new home. She is currently in a temporary foster without other dogs and will be arriving at her new foster home later this week. Macy is a confident girl. She loves playing with toys and is great on walks. We will continue to update Macy’s page as she gets settled in at her new foster home.

Macy’s lump was removed and she has recovered quickly from surgery. We received the great news that her lump was an apocrine ductal adenoma, which is benign and excision was curative. Macy is now ready to find a forever home. She has a lot of energy and would love an active dog to run and play with. This wonderful girl is going to be a great addition to a lucky family!

We received great news from Macy’s cardiologist appointment. She has no signs of heart disease and is displaying normal cardiac structure and function. Macy has been cleared for her lump removal, which is scheduled for next week. Her foster mom reports that Macy is really starting to come out of her shell. She loves to play with dog toys. Her favorite game is fetch and she will actually bring the toy back. Macy gets along great with the two other dogs in her foster home. They all love running around the fenced yard and chasing each other. She then enjoys coming inside to take a nap on the couch. Macy does know sit and she displays this quickly in the kitchen in case you want her to taste test something. She will also give you her paw. Macy is completely housebroken and is also doing well in her crate. She enjoys car rides and just watches the world go by. During her walks, Macy gets very excited and will “talk” or whine. Macy has alot of energy and would do best in a home with a fenced yard and an active dog to play with. Once she tires herself out, she will cuddle up next to you. Macy is very much a love bug who gives lots of kisses. She seems very grateful for a warm home and friends to play with.

Macy was found as a stray and is estimated to be around 4 yrs old. The shelter reports that Macy is very friendly. She is great around children and other dogs. Macy is a very happy girl and she is doing well with  the other boxers in her foster home. She goes willingly in her crate and is completely housebroken. Macy’s new foster mom reports that she is a complete lovebug. Macy has been spayed at the shelter and brought up to date on all vet care. Once she arrived in rescue, our vet evaluated her for kennel couch and determined she needed to be seen by a cardiologist. Once we have more information from this appointment, we will be scheduling Macy’s lump removal. Please consider donating towards Macy’s care. We will update her page once we learn more about Macy.
