Moose was surrendered to rescue due to a change in the owner’s personal circumstances. He is a sweet boy who will soon be 8 months old. Moose has been well cared for and he loves to play with other dogs. He has participated in obedience training and Moose is a friendly, outgoing boy. He is crate trained and housebroken. The owner reported that Moose is good with children and he loved playing at the dog park. Moose has just arrived at his new foster home, where he is living with two other boxers. He has been introduced to cats at his foster home and has done well with them. Moose came down with kennel cough right before arriving in rescue, so his neuter appointment has been delayed until he is feeling better. Moose also has a very sensitive gastrointestinal system. His previous owner placed him on prescription food to help minimize symptoms. Moose would love to find a forever home that is familiar with the boxer breed and can accommodate his needs. He would enjoy a fenced yard and a female dog to play with.
