Message for "Name a Dog" donation:
In memory of my beloved baby boy, Parker. He was a white boxer who was a foster failure at age 4 and he loved to the age of 13. Parker was truly amazing, like all my boxers.

After 4 months in a boarding kennel, Parker finally found his hero. He just arrived at his new foster home in New Jersey and is settling in well. His foster mom indicates that Parker is an amazing dog. He is so lovable and just wants to be close to his people. His tail has not stopped wagging since he arrived home. Parker picked up his new routines very quickly. He sits, waits to be fed, and takes treats so gently. Parker is housebroken and uses the dog door. He walks like a gentleman on leash. It is a joy to watch him run around the yard with a toy in his mouth.

Parker has completed his heartworm treatment while in boarding. He only has a few more weeks left of exercise restriction, and then will be completely finished with the treatment. We will then schedule his neuter surgery. Everybody who has met Parker falls in love with his amazing disposition. He loves people and is such a happy boy. This boy deserves a chance to get out of the kennel and into a loving home. If you can help Parker, apply today!

Parker has been in our boarding kennel for the past month and is still waiting for a foster or forever home. The volunteer that has been walking him indicates that Parker is a sweet boy who walks well on leash. Parker will be receiving his first heartworm treatment next week. He will then be on restricted activity following treatment and would love to recover in a home instead of the kennel.  Parker would do best as an only dog at this time.

Parker is in urgent need of a new foster home. He will be undergoing heartworm treatment in June, so will need a foster home to provide crate rest and restricted activity as he recovers from the treatment for 1-2 months. Although Parker did well at the shelter on his dog test, he didn’t like to share his attention with the two other dogs in his previous foster home. This resulted in Parker being placed at a boarding kennel. Parker does not have a history around children or cats. He really loves being around people. Parker enjoys playing fetch with any type of ball or toy. If you can provide a foster home for Parker, apply today!

Parker was found as a stray in Kentucky and is estimated to be around 2 yrs old. He was tested with another dog at the shelter and did really well. When we took Parker to the vet to get him updated on everything, we discovered that he was heartworm positive. We have started to prepare Parker for his heartworm treatment, which will be completed in the next couple months. Parker will be on exercise restriction during his treatment, but he hopes to soon put this all behind him!  Parker is settling in well at his foster home and getting along with both dogs, male and female. Parker is a sweet and playful boy!
