Included are some updated photos of Penelope. She continues to make progress with each day. Penelope is looking for a home with a fenced yard and another dog,
I have been saving and fostering dogs from “puppy mills” for several years now. Penelope has been the most broken hearted girl I have ever fostered. The evil that she must have endured is too much for me to think about. He was a very unkind and unfeeling mill owner – the worst that I have come across. We are working on trust issues and she is starting to like the human hand. Penelope has recently starting taking treats from our hands. She will continue to need patience and understanding from a hero that would like to provide her continued support and the most loving home. Penelope is gentle and loves children that are gentle with her. Noises and quick movements still scare her. She loves to go outside and explore the fenced yard. Penelope feels most confident outside. She gets along great with the other boxers in the house and counts on them to show her the way. Penelope is waiting for the special family that will continue with the emotional support she so desires. She always looks to me for guidance on what is expected of her.
Penelope is up to date on her vaccines and is now spayed. She is a shy girl and would love a male companion to show her the way to a boxer wiggle. She will also need a fenced yard. This beautiful girl is cat friendly!
Penelope was surrendered to rescue from a puppy mill because she only had four puppies with her last litter. She is a petite, 6 yr old female boxer. Penelope is very timid and just arrived at her new foster home. She will be spayed soon and brought up to date on all vet care.
