Ray is a total love bug. When he tires himself out, Ray loves to cuddle with his foster mom. He is a smart boy and has mastered house training. Ray needs some work on his leash manners. He is looking for an active home and would benefit from a fenced yard. Ray loves to fetch and play tug. Because of his strength and activity level, he would do best with older children. Ray has been neutered and is ready to find a forever home.
Ray is settling in at his foster home. He has not had any training, but learns quickly and is a total snuggler once he settles. Ray’s foster home is getting him used to leash walking and seeing different things such as traffic, other dogs, and people. He eats very quickly, but this should improve as Ray realizes that food will be consistent. Ray loves to play tug and fetch.
The humane officer had Ray’s owner surrender him to the shelter. He was left tied up in the yard and was being tossed food every few days. Ray is around 2 yrs old and needs an experienced home that can provide training and help him learn appropriate manners. Ray tested well with other dogs at the shelter. At his initial vet exam, Ray was Lyme positive. He was placed on a course of Doxy and will be neutered once this is completed. We would recommend a home without cats or young children at this time. Ray just arrived at his new foster home. We will update his page as Ray gets settled in and we determine what kind of home he would do best in.
