3/17/17 – MEMORIAL
We were devastated to lose Rocky on 3/14/17. The MRI showed structural abnormalities in his brain that could not be corrected. Thank you for helping to give this boy a chance – we were all hoping for a better outcome. Rest In Peace, Rocky.

Prayers and donations are needed for Rocky. We had to rush him to the ER late last night due to a second grand mal seizure in 24 hours. He was admitted and is under the care of the excellent doctors at Penn. To determine the cause of the seizures, Rocky will need a MRI as soon as possible. Added to his hospital stay, we are looking at as much as $7500 for Rocky’s vet care. Please help us give this young boy the best chance at having a normal life.

Rocky arrived yesterday at his new foster home. He is very nervous and has been doing a lot of pacing. The other dogs do seem to offer him some comfort, but he is desperate for confidence and guidance. This boy will need a lot of time and patience, and a home with a confident owner and another dog. He has great potential, and will just need some time in his foster to get ready for a forever home.

Rocky is in need of a hero! This adorable 2 yr old boy joined the rescue in November. He has a history of seizures, which may be stress related. Rocky’s owner is losing her home, so we are hoping to move him soon to a new placement. We are looking for a home willing to go slow and let him take things at his own speed. A fenced yard accessible from the house is a must, as leashing Rocky can be a trigger for his seizures. He is very loving and has gotten along well with other dogs.

11/12/16 –
Rocky is an adorable 2 yr old boy who is being surrendered to rescue due to a divorce. He currently lives with Kobe, a male boxer. Rocky was originally an abuse case as a puppy. He was taken by animal control from his first owners when they stopped feeding him and giving him water. They left him outside because he was having accidents as a puppy. Rocky is on the shy side, but once he warms up – he is full of boxer kisses. He loves other dogs and should be placed in a new home with another dog and a fenced yard.
