Message for "Name a Dog" donation:
Stanley was the most beautiful blessing and gift our family ever had. I hope that whoever is lucky enough to have a Stanley in their home will be able to share the same joy we did.

Stanley is still recovering from his FHO surgery, but he is using his leg more and more with each day. Stanley has gained five pounds since his surgery. He has also gained a lot of confidence in humans. Considering the condition that he came into rescue, Stanley is now thriving! He gets along with everyone, including other dogs, cats, and children. We are still trying to regulate his blood pressure. This may be an ongoing issue that will need managed with medication.  Stanley has a wonderful temperament and is going to be a great addition to a lucky family.

Stanley did really well during his FHO surgery. He has been released from the hospital and is on the road to recovery. Stanley has several health issues we have discovered since he came to AABR, but we are hoping many of these may resolve as he recovers from the trauma he has suffered.

Stanley’s Christmas wish came true when one of AABR’s volunteers was able to take him into foster on Saturday. ¬†He was found as a stray in Kentucky and had been hit by a car. Stanley visited our vet on Sunday and X-rays revealed that his left hip is dislocated. Stanley is very underweight and both his kidney and liver levels are elevated. Once he is stable, Stanley will have orthopedic surgery to repair his hip. If you can help Stanley, please consider making a donation towards his vet expenses and upcoming surgery. He is an extremely sweet boy who is doing wonderful in his foster home with children and two other boxers.
