Summer has been the perfect little houseguest in her foster home. She enjoys following her foster parents around throughout the house and playing with her squeaky toys. She walks perfectly on leash and has become quite fond of doing zoomies in the yard. This girl is as perfect as they get. She is a polite and courteous little lady who isn’t afraid to take a nap on the couch or her foster parent’s bed. Summer would make a wonderful addition to any home that is looking for an only pet.
Summer was surrendered to rescue because of conflicts between her and the other female dogs in the home. Summer has many scars on her legs and on the top of her head from these fights. Summer is looking for a quiet home that can help heal her body and mind after living in such a difficult environment. She is a sweet, but insecure girl who needs someone to give her the time, patience and reassurance she needs to learn that everything in life is not scary. Summer’s ideal home should have no other pets, children over the age of 12, and a fenced yard. She will learn to be the happy go lucky boxer that we are seeing glimpses of. Summer is waiting for that special home to shower her with the love and attention she so desperately craves.
