Toby is doing wonderful in his foster home. He is great with the kids and enjoys story time with them. Toby also does well with his foster sister, an older female boxer. He pays absolutely no attention to the cats. Toby would do best with an older, more relaxed dog or he would be fine also as an only dog. He is doing excellent in the crate and has been getting a midday break with the dog walker. Toby walks well with his harness. He was just neutered and had a hernia repaired. Toby’s family sadly lost their home to a fire and they were going to let him run in the mountains. A friend of the family intervened and contacted rescue to help provide a safe place for Toby. He was transported last weekend to his new foster home in Maryland. Toby is good with other dogs, both large and small. He is currently in a foster home with a female boxer and cats. Toby knows his basic commands and is very gentle when taking treats. He is housebroken and doing well in the crate. Toby is currently in a temporary foster for the weekend while his foster is out of town. He is doing great with the two young children, ages 3 and 5 yrs. Toby will be neutered on Tuesday and then will be ready for a forever home.
