Just as Tracey was beginning to enjoy the comforts of a foster home, her health declined and she had to be rushed to an emergency hospital. She was diagnosed with Camplyobacter and Giardia infection. As Tracey regains her health, she will need to be in a home without other dogs or with a young, healthy male dog.
Meet Tracey. She was one of our recent intakes from the puppy mill auction in Missouri. We are so grateful we were able to save her from being sold to live a tortuous life of being a cash crop breeder dog. Tracey is just shy of 2 years old and is the cutest little peanut. We are looking for a home with the time and patience a young girl needs, especially because it will take her time to adjust to life outside of a commercial puppy mill. Tracey is in a foster home, and there she is working on manners, leash walking, crate training, going up the stairs, and all the life skills she will need to thrive. We are requiring a securely fenced yard with a male dog to help her along the way. Mill dogs take comfort with another dog in the home. She is a very gentle girl and would do well with children over 6 years of age. Tracey is currently located in Scranton, PA.
