Trudy continues to do wonderful in her foster home. Since her last update, Trudy’s foster furbrother passed away. She really seems to miss him, but has been making a lot of new friends. Trudy recently went on her first home visit. She was a little shy, but warmed up very quickly. Trudy would do best in a home that has carpet or area rugs, as she still doesn’t like to walk on hardwood floors. Trudy would also do best with a fenced yard. We are looking for a home with another active dog, as Trudy really enjoys being around other dogs and would love to have a companion to play with. She is a wonderful girl and has a lot of spunk. Trudy loves to play and go for walks. Apply today for this very special girl.
Trudy is doing great in her foster home. She is living with a senior boxer and seems to really enjoy other dogs. Trudy has totally settled in and loves playing with toys and chewing on bully sticks. She has learned to sit, give paw & give kisses. Trudy enjoys walks and travels great in the car. She is also living with 3 cats, and while she does seem curious I think its more a game of chase.
Trudy has free run and has learned to use the doggy door. She is very gentle with her food and treats. Trudy is housetrained and the best snuggle partner you could ask for. She curls up like a baby deer and likes to be right next to a person. Everybody that has met Trudy has fallen in love with her – she is a gem. Trudy is one of the best fosters I have had. Please don’t let her coloring fool you – Trudy is estimated to be around 6-7 years old, which is prime for a boxer. If you are looking for a devoted new family member, please apply today for Trudy.
Trudy was found as a stray in West Virginia and was not reclaimed at the shelter. The shelter then reached out to rescue for help. They indicated that Trudy was a sweet girl who seemed very well mannered. She walks well on leash and does not react to other dogs. Trudy has gotten along great with everyone she has met! Trudy has some gray, but her teeth are in good shape – so we are not sure of an exact age. Both the shelter and her temporary foster mom feel she is probably younger than she appears at first glance. Trudy will see our vet on Monday for her spay surgery. At her temporary foster home, she immediately got along great with all three other dogs. She initiates play and also loves to snuggle. Trudy did well with a three year old child. She is a complete love bug and enjoys being around people.
