Trudy continues to wait patiently for her forever home. She has been in foster for 7 months and is ready to settle in with a family of her own. Trudy is enjoying the spring weather and loves to go for walks. We have given Trudy the middle name of Joy, and it fits her well. I know there is a home out there waiting for this sweet girl.  She loves other dogs and has been mentoring several foster siblings.  Please don’t overlook Trudy – she has a lot of love to give to a family.

Trudy is still waiting for the perfect family to find her. She has been overlooked. Other fosters have come and gone, and Trudy wonders when it will be her turn. She is an awesome girl. Trudy is great with other dogs, cats, and people. When people meet Trudy, they can’t believe she hasn’t been adopted yet. If you are looking for a great addition to your family and have another dog for Trudy to play with, apply today!

Trudy is still waiting patiently for her forever family. Her foster sister, a Frenchie, was recently adopted.  Trudy seemed heartbroken, but has now yet again made another friend to spend her days with. I love this girl and enjoy having her as my foster, but I also know there is a better match for her. She is wonderful and is looking for a home with a fenced yard, another dog, and a family to love her. I am making it my goal to find her the perfect family for 2019. Please don’t overlook this sweet girl. She is housetrained, loves going for walks, and is great with cats, dogs, and children.  If you want a faithful friend, please apply today for Trudy.

Trudy continues to do wonderful in her foster home. Since her last update, Trudy’s foster furbrother passed away. She really seems to miss him, but has been making a lot of new friends. Trudy recently went on her first home visit. She was a little shy, but warmed up very quickly. Trudy would do best in a home that has carpet or area rugs, as she still doesn’t like to walk on hardwood floors. Trudy would also do best with a fenced yard. We are looking for a home with another active dog, as Trudy really enjoys being around other dogs and would love to have a companion to play with. She is a wonderful girl and has a lot of spunk. Trudy loves to play and go for walks. Apply today for this very special girl.

Trudy is doing great in her foster home.  She is living with a senior boxer and seems to really enjoy other dogs. Trudy has totally settled in and loves playing with toys and chewing on bully sticks. She has learned to sit, give paw & give kisses. Trudy enjoys walks and travels great in the car. She is also living with 3 cats, and while she does seem curious I think its more a game of chase.

Trudy has free run and has learned to use the doggy door. She is very gentle with her food and treats.  Trudy is housetrained and the best snuggle partner you could ask for. She curls up like a baby deer and likes to be right next to a person. Everybody that has met Trudy has fallen in love with her – she is a gem.  Trudy is one of the best fosters I have had. Please don’t let her coloring fool you – Trudy is estimated to be around 6-7 years old, which is prime for a boxer. If you are looking for a devoted new family member, please apply today for Trudy.

Trudy was found as a stray in West Virginia and was not reclaimed at the shelter. The shelter then reached out to rescue for help. They indicated that Trudy was a sweet girl who seemed very well mannered. She walks well on leash and does not react to other dogs. Trudy has gotten along great with everyone she has met! Trudy has some gray, but her teeth are in good shape – so we are not sure of an exact age.  Both the shelter and her temporary foster mom feel she is probably younger than she appears at first glance.  Trudy will see our vet on Monday for her spay surgery. At her temporary foster home, she immediately got along great with all three other dogs.  She initiates play and also loves to snuggle.  Trudy did well with a three year old child.  She is a complete love bug and enjoys being around people.
