2/23/19 – Memorial
After only 2 days in foster, Tyson had to be hospitalized at our vet hospital. He sadly tested positive for Parvo and our vets did everything they could to try and save him. After fighting for several days, Tyson lost the battle. This could have been avoided had his owners properly vaccinated him. We are thankful to Tyson’s foster home for offering him a place to go so we could get him out of the shelter. We also appreciate everybody’s prayers and donations towards his care.
Rest In Peace, sweet boy.
Tyson was surrendered to the shelter because he was too interested in the owner’s chickens. He is 2 yrs old and has already been neutered. Tyson did great when he was evaluated with other dogs at the shelter. He was transported today to his new foster home. Tyson was very nervous with all the changes going on his life. We will update his page once he gets settled in and we learn more about him.
