Veronica was rescued by one of our volunteers from an Amish puppy mill. Veronica and her sister, Annie (also listed on our website), are littermates. The mill owner purchased them both at an auction when they were just 1 yr of age. Both sisters were born in a puppy mill and have never known anything but that life of horror for the past 3 yrs. Veronica and Annie both came from the same mill that Gallagher (AABR alum, adopted 8/17) came from.
Veronica is learning about all the things that life has to offer outside of the mill. She has touched grass for the very first time. She has seen the sky for the very first time. and most importantly, she has known love, kindness and respect for the very first time. As with most mill dogs, Veronica will need a home with another dog to help her gain confidence. A secured, fenced yard is also required as Weimaraners are known athletes.
